After a string of seven wins, Beloved Community Charter's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were dealt a 51-22 loss at the hands of the Newark Central Blue Devils. The match marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Beloved Community Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Newark Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Beloved Community Charter will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st.
