Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Nevada

Nevada entered their tilt with East Newton on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Patriots 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Nevada won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 25-13.

Leading Nevada to victory were Halle Hawks and Alatna Snyder. Hawks had 13 digs, while Snyder had 12 assists. Those 13 digs gave Hawks a new career-high.

Nevada's win bumped their record up to 23-6-2. As for East Newton, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-15-1.

Looking ahead, Nevada will head out on the road to challenge Bolivar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
