Volleyball Recap: Troy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Troy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Valencia Tigers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Troy was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-16, 23-25, 25-23.

Troy pushed their record up to 24-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Valencia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-7 record this season.

Troy and Valencia should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 144th) will meet El Modena (ranked 516th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Valencia will square off against Laguna Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (195 vs. 875).
