Escambia has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Booker T. Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Gators will challenge the Wildcats at 6:30  p.m. Escambia is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last eight games.
Escambia made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tate, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gators never let the Aggies get on the board and left with  a   10-0  win  on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won 11 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Clayton Sanders made a big impact no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run over six innings pitched. Sanders was also big at the plate,  getting four  hits from his four  at bats. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in February.

 In other batting news,  Christian Stone and  Colin Hanks did most of the damage at the plate:  Stone  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI, while  Hanks  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Hanks a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Xavier Taylor was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Escambia was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .300 or higher in ten consecutive  matches.
Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington posted their closest  victory since February 28th on Thursday. They skirted past Pine Forest  6-4. The  win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.
 Booker T. Washington's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Jonathan Wallin, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4. Another  was  JJ Startzel, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Escambia's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 19-5. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Booker T. Washington, their win bumped their record up to 8-17.
Booker T. Washington's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Escambia hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .383. It's a different story for Booker T. Washington, though, as  they've  only  averaged .205. Will they be able to contain Escambia's hitters?
 Escambia took their  victory against Booker T. Washington  when the teams last played  back in February by a conclusive  15-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gators since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
