Baseball Game Preview: Overbrook Rams vs. Delsea Crusaders

The Overbrook Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Delsea Crusaders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Overbrook 2.8, Delsea 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Thursday, Overbrook didn't have quite enough to beat Schalick and fell 3-2. The Rams have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Delsea is still undefeated this season after their match against Timber Creek Regional on Thursday, but Timber Creek Regional came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Chargers 6-4.

Delsea's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Overbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
