Softball Recap: Edgewood-Colesburg Takes a Loss

Edgewood-Colesburg entered their contest against Kee on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vikings came up short against the Kee Hawks, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Vikings have suffered since June 14, 2024.

Edgewood-Colesburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Kee, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Edgewood-Colesburg will challenge Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Defenders will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kee, they will face off against Postville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Kee Hawks are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
