Softball Recap: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. Aurora Greenmen
Chardon's tournament run continued when they took on Aurora on Friday. The Hilltoppers walked away with a 9-6 win over the Greenmen. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hilltoppers.
Alexa Anderson made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off ten hits. Anderson was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gwen Boyle, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Gia Sharaba was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
