Salmon and North Fremont are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2022, but not for long. The Savages will take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Salmon is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Salmon came up short against Firth on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Salmon took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, North Fremont got the win against Challis on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was North Fremont's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-7.

Salmon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for North Fremont, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Salmon might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from North Fremont in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Savages avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
