Softball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park fell victim to Clarendon and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 22-0 to the Broncos. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Hornets haven't been shut out since back in February.

Highland Park's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Clarendon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland Park will take on Gruver at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Clarendon, it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when Clarendon Broncos challenge Claude Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
