Softball Game Preview: Grafton Clippers vs. Gloucester Dukes

The Grafton Clippers will challenge the Gloucester Dukes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Grafton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Denbigh a 21-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Clippers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Gloucester made easy work of Phoebus on Thursday and carried off an 18-0 win.

Gloucester's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Grafton, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.

Grafton came up short against Gloucester in their previous meeting back in April, falling 3-0. Can the Clippers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
