Volleyball Preview: Roland-Story Norsemen vs. West Marshall Trojans
Roland-Story has been away from home for two games now, but on Thursday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the West Marshall Trojans at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Roland-Story is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering South Hardin just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Norsemen were not able to get on the board.
Meanwhile, West Marshall and Wapsie Valley met for a duel on Saturday where West Marshall couldn't get it done. West Marshall took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wapsie Valley.
While West Marshall ultimately came up short, they really made Wapsie Valley work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 21-11.
Roland-Story's loss dropped their record down to 15-2. As for West Marshall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
