New Creation Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 40-14 to the Community Christian Knights. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Community Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aurelius Brooks, who threw for 173 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes. Aiden Burton was Brooks' top target, picking up 91 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
