Recap: Berks Catholic Saints vs. Eastern Lebanon County Raiders
The Berks Catholic Saints were the 49-28 winner over the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Berks Catholic fell 34-21 to Eastern Lebanon County on Friday. Berks Catholic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Loss or not, Berks Catholic got some senior leadership from Michael Bradley who rushed for 177 yards while picking up 8.0 yards per carry and Devin Garcia who rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns.
Jake Williams had a dynamite game for Eastern Lebanon County, rushing for 304 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry.
Berks Catholic has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Eastern Lebanon County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Berks Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Hamburg at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Big Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Grant Hall and Williams.
