American is a perfect 8-0 against Kennedy since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. American will welcome Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, American came up short against James Logan and fell 3-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

While American had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Kennedy suffered their biggest loss since February 25th on Thursday. They came up short against Irvington, falling 3-0.

Kennedy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-22.

Kennedy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. American's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

American took their win against Kennedy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will American repeat their success, or does Kennedy has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
