Basketball Game Preview: Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) vs. Devine Warhorses

Uvalde and Devine are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2017, but not for long. The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will host the Devine Warhorses at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Devine took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Uvalde, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with 13 defeats in a row, Uvalde turned things around against Pleasanton on Tuesday. They walked away with a 62-49 win over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Devine came up short against Floresville on Tuesday and fell 45-38. The loss continues a trend for the Warhorses in their matchups with the Tigers/Jaguars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Uvalde's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 9-19. As for Devine, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-17.
