Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Madison Jaguars. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 48-46 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Madison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

Oak Grove will square off against Delhi Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Madison Jaguars duke it out with the Beekman Charter Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
