Baldwin County can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals by a score of 58-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Baldwin County found their leader in freshman Earvin McCoy Jr., who posted 21 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Gavin Boykin, who went 5-for-9 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds.

Thanks to that strong game, Lavoie now owns an excellent 48.3% field goal percentage. Evan Brewer was another key player, putting up nine points.

Baldwin County's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for St. Michael Catholic, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
