There's no place like home for The Nueva School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Design Tech Dragons on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in January.

The Nueva School has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those eight matches. As for Design Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

The Nueva School wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Cindy Avitia on the 10th. As for Design Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Palo Alto Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. East Palo Alto Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
