Softball Recap: West Ridge Comes Up Short

West Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-6 to the Abingdon Falcons.

West Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Abingdon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Coming up, West Ridge will host Jefferson County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Abingdon, they are taking a road trip to take on John Battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
