Volleyball Game Preview: Lakeside Lions vs. Seattle Academy Cardinals

The Lakeside Lions will challenge the Seattle Academy Cardinals at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lakeside has five straight victories, Seattle Academy has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Lakeside will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Skyline, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Lions blew past the Spartans 3-0 on Wednesday.

While Lakeside might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Skyline scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-26, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Seattle Academy came up short against Bishop Blanchet on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-16.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Seattle Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
