Football Recap: Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] Falls Short of Karns City in the Playoffs

Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] and Karns City squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Gremlins, falling 42-14. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Karns City this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-14 back in September.

Karns City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Johnston out in front who rushed for 37 yards and one TD, and also threw for 95 yards and one touchdown on only eight passes. Hunter Scherer was another key back, gaining 102 total yards and a touchdown.
