Baseball Recap: South River Comes Up Short

South River fell victim to Spotswood and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

South River's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Spotswood, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, South River will head out to take on East Brunswick Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Spotswood, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Monroe Township at 4:00 p.m.
