Soccer Recap: Jackson Christian Starts Season with Loss at Home

Jackson Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Henry County Patriots on Friday, falling 3-0. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Eagles it sure didn't stay that way.

The win made it two in a row for Henry County and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Jackson Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Collierville at 6:00 p.m. on March 21st. As for Henry County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dyersburg on the 11th.
