Volleyball Recap: Dixie Takes a Loss

Dixie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Desert Hills Thunder, falling 3-0. The Flyers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Thunder from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Dixie was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Desert Hills work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 28-26, 25-17.

Dixie's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Desert Hills, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Dixie will challenge Cedar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Desert Hills, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North Sanpete on the 21st.
