Basketball Recap: Williamson Falls Despite Big Games from Blessin Lane and Paydon Davis

Williamson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Baker, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 34-32 on Thursday. The Lions' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Williamson's loss came despite strong showings from Paydon Davis and Blessin Lane. Davis went 6-for-12 en route to 20 points and four blocks, while Lane posted four points. Davis has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played.
