Basketball Game Preview: Orange Lions vs. Wickliffe Blue Devils

The Orange Lions and the Wickliffe Blue Devils, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Orange is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Monday, Orange lost to Kirtland on the road by a 46-27 margin.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wickliffe, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They strolled past Shaw with points to spare last Monday, taking the game 52-33. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Devils as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Orange's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wickliffe, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Orange couldn't quite get it done against Wickliffe in their previous meeting back in January of 2025 as they fell 52-40. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
