Baseball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Caldwell's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Seton Hall Prep Pirates on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Chiefs in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost four in a row.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Seton Hall Prep, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Caldwell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-3 win against St. Benedict's Prep on the 15th. As for Seton Hall Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against West Essex on the 16th.
