Soccer Recap: Upperman Comes Up Short

Upperman came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the DeKalb County Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Upperman of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Upperman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for DeKalb County, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Upperman is set to square off against their familiar foe Livingston Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, DeKalb County will challenge rival Stone Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
