Basketball Recap: Fort Wayne HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne HomeSchool's tournament run continued when they took on Tyler HEAT on Tuesday. The Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks fell 70-61 to Tyler HEAT.

Despite the loss, Fort Wayne HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Trevon Maley, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 14 boards. Maley has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Graber, who went 5-for-6 en route to 11 points in addition to six boards and four blocks.

Fort Wayne HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 24-14. As for Tyler HEAT, the victory (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 40-2.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne HomeSchool and Fort Worth THESA will face off at 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Fort Worth THESA knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Fort Wayne HomeSchool likes a good challenge. Tyler HEAT does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
