Brendan Hall Goes Supernova in Geneva County Victory

Starting off the list is Geneva County's Brendan Hall, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hall rushed for 312 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

Geneva County moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Hall and Geneva County will square off against Houston County on Friday.

Cottonwood Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Braylon Morris

Braylon Morris was instrumental in extending Cottonwood's winning streak to eight on Friday. Morris turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 237 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

Cottonwood's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Morris and Cottonwood will venture away from home to challenge Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyler Sharp produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Providence Christian to the win on Friday. Sharp rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The win (which was Providence Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Sharp and Providence Christian will challenge Long on Friday.

King Campbell Delivers Electric Effort Vs Ariton

Cottonwood picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to King Campbell. Nobody could stop Campbell as he rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

For the year, Campbell has averaged 16 receiving yards per game.

Pittman Made His Presence Known in Providence Christian's 42-26 Win

The second Providence Christian player making an appearance here is Craig Pittman, and for good reason. He rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 61 yards and two touchdowns.

For the season, Pittman has thrown 11 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 112.7 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three passing touchdowns.
