Volleyball Recap: Wheatmore Gets the Win + How To Watch

Wheatmore won the last time they faced Chatham Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Madeline Mullinix paced Wheatmore's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mullinix got some help from Lanie McMahan and her 33 assists. Mullinix was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Wheatmore now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chatham Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheatmore will venture away from home to square off against Bishop McGuinness at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chatham Central, they will head out to take on South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
