Recap: Ware County Gators vs. Bradwell Institute Tigers

Even though the Ware County Gators have not done well against the Bradwell Institute Tigers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Ware County walked away with a 62-55 win over Bradwell Institute. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Bradwell Institute's loss came despite strong showings from Jamal Jackson and Christopher Perry. Jackson scored 14 points along with three steals and two blocks, while Perry scored 11 points along with five blocks and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jahzhia Thomas, who scored three points along with six rebounds.

Ware County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Bradwell Institute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-3.

Ware County will head out on the road to take on Coffee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coffee will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Ware County is ranked 94th). As for Bradwell Institute, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenbrier at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Greenbrier's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
