Recap: Fort Defiance Indians vs. Strasburg Rams
The Fort Defiance Indians and the Strasburg Rams squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Fort Defiance Indians had to settle for second. Fort Defiance's rough 35-14 defeat to Strasburg might stick with them for a while. Fort Defiance's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Fort Defiance's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Talyn Armentrout, who picked up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Fort Defiance's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Strasburg, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Fort Defiance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Strasburg will head out on the road to face off against Central Woodstock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Woodstock is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
