Meanwhile, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central beat Illini Bluffs 50-37 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Bluejays have won by exactly 13 points.

PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Midwest Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Midwest Central might still be hurting after the 59-36 defeat they got from PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Midwest Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
