Basketball Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

Chestatee suffered their biggest defeat since January 17th on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Buford Wolves and fell 73-28. The War Eagles lost against the Wolves in their previous head to head back in January of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 45-26 score last time.

This is the second loss in a row for Chestatee and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Buford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Chestatee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pickens at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Buford, they will face off against Josey at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
