Soccer Game Preview: Tinley Park vs. Reavis

Tinley Park is 6-0-1 against Reavis since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Titans will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Tinley Park has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tinley Park lost 5-2 to Blue Island Eisenhower on Monday.

Meanwhile, Reavis had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their defense stepped up to hand Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Isabella Lopez as she scored five goals for her team.

Reavis' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Tinley Park, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Tinley Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Reavis when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
