Basketball Recap: New Bern Christian Academy vs. Bethel Christian Academy Trojans
New Bern Christian Academy stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against Bethel Christian Academy as New Bern Christian Academy made off with a 47-27 victory. The win was nothing new for New Bern Christian Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading New Bern Christian Academy to victory were Lily Davis and Alli Anderson. Davis scored nine points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Anderson dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Anderson scored 15 or more points. Faith Huffman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.
New Bern Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
