Volleyball Recap: Harvard Cardinals vs. Silver Lake Mustangs

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silver Lake Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 2nd.

Harvard may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 14 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Hannah Harms paced Harvard's offense, picking up three kills. Harms got some help from Haley Gimpel and her five assists.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Silver Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Harvard will head out to face off against Nebraska Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Silver Lake, they will venture away from home to challenge Dorchester at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
