Volleyball Recap: Jackson County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jackson County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Apalachee Wildcats. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory two weeks ago.

Jackson County easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

Sophia Parker paced Jackson County's offense, picking up 11 kills. Parker got some help from Holly Anne Keefer and her 11 assists. Keefer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Jackson County's win bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Apalachee, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-17.

Jackson County has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Loganville on the 7th. As for Apalachee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Habersham Central on the 7th.
