Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bloomington Central Catholic walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tri-Valley Vikings on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Saints, who have now won six matches in a row.

Kampbell Niepagen paced Bloomington Central Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Niepagen got some help from Josie Certa and her 18 assists. Certa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bloomington Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 32-5. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 26-10.

Looking ahead, Bloomington Central Catholic will challenge Tolono Unity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
