Volleyball Game Preview: Schulenburg Shorthorns vs. Snook Bluejays

Schulenburg has gone a perfect 3-0 against Snook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Shorthorns will face off against the Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. Schulenburg is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

Schulenburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Yorktown.

Schulenburg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michaela Kollmann, who had 13 digs and three aces. What's more, Kollmann posted two assists, the most she's had since back in August. Jenna Guentert was another key player, getting 14 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Schulenburg was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Snook was able to grind out a solid victory over Holland on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

Schulenburg's win bumped their record up to 32-14. As for Snook, their victory bumped their record up to 10-15.

Schulenburg was able to grind out a solid win over Snook in their previous matchup back in August, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Shorthorns since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
