Soccer Recap: Dixie County Comes Up Short

Dixie County lost against Newberry back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dixie County Bears came up short against the Newberry Panthers, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly eight goals.

Dixie County dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Newberry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-1.

Dixie County will challenge Williston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Newberry, they will face off against P.K. Yonge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. P.K. Yonge will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Newberry surely won't give up without a fight.
