Groves made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Jenkins, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Groves Rebels blew past the Jenkins Warriors 9-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Rebels' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win snapped Groves' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 1-3 record. As for Jenkins, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Groves will challenge Islands at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jenkins, they will square off against Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jenkins has given up an average of 7.3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
