Roderick Suiters and De'Angelo Wright certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Suiters rushed for 54 yards and one touchdown, while Wright gained 110 total yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Wright a new career-high in receiving yards (55).

Marlin wouldn't let Ganado keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Ty'Raun Bell, Jordan Womack, and Ivan Ricks picked up one apiece.

Marlin's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4. As for Ganado, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
