Basketball Recap: Fond Du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association had to endure a four-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Oakhill Christian Royals with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Disciples also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Oakhill Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Vogel, who posted 14 points and five boards. That was a full 34.1% of Oakhill Christian's points, marking the third time in a row Vogel has had more than a third of the team's points. Elijah Harman was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Oakhill Christian, they dropped their record down to 5-23 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Fond du Lac Home School Christian Athletics Association does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakhill Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-65 win against Maranatha Baptist on the 25th.
