Volleyball Game Preview: Jesuit Marauders vs. Oak Ridge Trojans

Jesuit is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Oak Ridge is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Marauders will host the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Jesuit had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Inderkum on Tuesday. The Marauders blew past the Tigers 3-0.

Jesuit not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Inderkum between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge made easy work of Davis Sr. last Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

Jesuit has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season. As for Oak Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 26-1.
