Soccer Preview: Del Sol Meets Centennial

The Del Sol Dragons will take on the Centennial Bulldogs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Centennial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Del Sol is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Durango on Friday. They fell just short of the Trailblazers by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Del Sol can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while Durango are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Centennial had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over Wolves.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 7-2-2. As for Del Sol, they are now 3-6, having gone 2-1 since their five-game losing streak ended.
