Baseball Recap: Coudersport Victorious

While Coudersport's victory against Northern Potter wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Coudersport skirted past Northern Potter 8-7. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Quinn Kratzer was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Logan Jackson was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

The victory got Coudersport back to even at 1-1. As for Northern Potter, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Coudersport will square off against Oswayo Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northern Potter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Otto-Eldred at 4:30 p.m. on April 4.
