Basketball Game Preview: Cortez Colts vs. Arcadia Titans

The Cortez Colts will head out on the road to face off against the Arcadia Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Cortez has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Cortez took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They secured a 55-51 W over Tempe. The Colts' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 42-13, which was the final score in Arcadia's tilt against St. Mary's on Friday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Cortez moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Arcadia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
