Soccer Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic managed to slip by Castleberry the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Parrots came up short against the Lions on Friday, falling 6-0.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Castleberry, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Polytechnic and Castleberry will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Parrots see the pitch they'll take on Mineral Wells at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Castleberry, their break will end when they face Crowley at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
